Role: Finance Manager

Location: Runcorn, England

Salary: £45,000

We are actively seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Runcorn, someone eager to evolve with us and embrace fresh challenges.

Job Specification for this Finance Manager Role: 
- Supervise the daily operations of the Finance Team.
- Assume full accountability for the AP and AR ledger, stock ledger, supplier statement reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Manage the company's fixed asset register.
- Approve employee expense claims.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Develop and uphold financial policies, procedures, and robust systems of financial control.
- Maintain product costings.
- Oversee cash flow management.
- Administer payroll.
- Submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Manage the annual Statutory Audit and semi-annual stock takes.
- Provide general support to other departments as needed.

Job Requirements for this Finance Manager Role: :
- ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Essential experience with Sage 200.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, coupled with strong IT aptitude for rapid system assimilation.
- Prior experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal posting, and daily bank reconciliation.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
