TIG Welder

Salary - Up to £35,360 p/a +Bonus 

Location - Sunbury-on-Thames

Job Type - Permanent

Working Hours - 8:00am to 5:00pm (Friday finish at 1pm)

As a TIG Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating components essential to their products. Your responsibilities will include preparing, cutting, burning, and welding pieces to specifications. Additionally, you will conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure the quality and integrity of welds, maintaining records of your work. TIG Welder responsibilities:

• Fabricating components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate methods.
• Verifying welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
• Documenting actions by completing records.
• Maintaining a safe work environment by following procedures; and complying with legal regulations.

Skills and Qualifications required for the TIG Welder:

• TIG Welding experience
• Basic health and safety knowledge
• Use of power tools
• Experience with Lean manufacturing is desirable

Other TIG Welder Information:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Some overtime is available
• 20 days holiday to start, plus bank holidays.
