Paint Prepper

Immediate start, 40-60 hours per week,
6 month initial contract
£19 per hour LTD all hours. - OUTSIDE OF IR35

Own tools would be required and the Limited Company Contractors required to obtain Liability Insurance

Paint prepper requirements

• Paint prep/finish experience in an Aerospace environment using Aerospace approved methods.
• Experience in preparation of composite and metallic materials.
• Filling and masking components ready for paint
• Prepare surfaces to Grade 1 or 2 finish: sanding and use of DA
• Diligent and productive work ethic
• The capacity to carry out repetitive tasks methodically and to a consistently high standard of quality
• Excellent concentration levels and attention to detail
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• A safety-conscious approach to work
• Must be reliable, have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Continuous Improvement, zero defect and customer focused mindset.
• Maintain the work environment to the agreed standard in line with Health and Safety regulations and 5S (housekeeping) standards
• Work in accordance with Company values, processes, policies and procedures
• A good team player with a flexible attitude to work load.
