Senior Debt Officer needed in Bedford Paying  £35 per hr ref 5247902

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Manage the Debtors Team responsible for the collection, recovery and enforcement of Debts and Benefit Overpayments

• To provide technical advice based on a comprehensive knowledge of Housing Benefit Overpayment and Sundry Debt collection and enforcement regulations

• Undertake debt monitoring activities, ensuring appropriate recovery activities are undertaken

• Responsible for the investigation and resolution of complaints

• Responsible for the management of serious arrears cases
