Job Title: Quality Assurance Auditor

Location: Dunstable

Salary: £22k-£25k

Summary

The candidate will successfully assure and maintain high levels of food quality and also safety standards in the factory. They will be responsible for controlling all of the technical aspects of production, which includes factory standards. A hugely exciting time to be joining a rapidly growing brand who supplies branded and own label products to supermarkets, QSR’s and more.

The Role

• Responsible for maintaining the factory standards through auditing
• Ensuring that procedures designed and put in to place maintain product quality as well as safety and legality and that staff are following this accordingly
• Participation in customer complaint investigations
• Delivering technical key performance indicators
• Be proactive in determining areas of improvement when necessary and assist in making sure any non-conformances are addressed

The Candidate

• Ideally the successful candidate will already be working/ have experience working in a technical role within a food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of BRC standards, HACCP, food safety standards and retailer Codes of Practice
• Competent with IT software, Microsoft Office, etc
• High attention to detail and able to adapt to change within a fast paced environment
