Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Suffolk

Salary: £30k-£35k

Summary

The successful candidate will lead the Production Team to ensure production is carried out to the highest standard and according to the production plan.

The Role

• Manage the production team in the preparation of goods according to the production plan and maintain the highest quality
• Breakdown monthly production targets in to weekly plans whilst liaising with the Fulfilment and Packaging Lead and Office Manager to ensure stock needs are met
• Implement all operational policies and procedures, including Food Safety systems, health and safety guidelines, etc
• To manage the production team including giving regular feedback, formal appraisals, approving holidays and coordinating the holiday schedule
• To train new members of the Production Team and lead in a positive, inclusive and effective manner

The Candidate

• Experience within the food manufacturing industry is essential
• Hands on and has a presence on the factory floor with the rest of the team
• Food Safety & HACCP is advantageous
• Experience managing a team of people and getting involved with training
• Passionate, driven and inspiring
