Overview

Our clients are a well-established consultancy who are enjoying continuous growth in the South-West. They are currently seeking a Project Manager with Employers Agent experience to join their growing team, working remotely with the occasional requirement to travel to client project sites and the Bristol office.

 

The successful candidate should be based in the South/ South-West for ease of commuting when required and be comfortable with working from home in an on-going basis. There is also the option to use the companies Bristol office should you prefer more of a balance with home working.

 

The ideal person will have gained experience as a Project Manager within a consultancy, have experience at pre-contract project stage and be capable of handling a full range of Project Management and Employers Agent responsibilities. This client work on a wide range of commercial projects so prior experience of these will also make for an easy transition into the team.

 

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 3-5years experience as a Project Manager, working at the design and costing stage of projects, but also capable of PM and EA duties during the build and delivery phase.
  • Experience in commercial or built environment projects.
  • Well versed in project lifecycles, confident in client facing scenarios and developing client relationships, ensuring quality is always being delivered in line with the clients expectations.
  • Preferably experience with both JCT & NEC contracts, however JCT is more important for this position.
  • Ideally hold a Project Management related accreditation such as APM, Prince2 or similar.
  • A Project Management or construction related degree would be preferable, but we are open to candidates who have taken a different route to start their career.
  • The successful candidate will be involved with driving the businesses success going forward, must be confident and concise in information delivery, capable of working independently and as part of a team, and most importantly be driven and ambitious.

 

Expected salary of £40,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience) + Benefits, fully remote working with the occasional requirement for office or project site visits. Excellent growth opportunities available with support towards qualifications if so desired.
