Job Title: Assembly Operative
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Alton
Salary: £18,000 to £22,500 per annum depending on experience
A worldwide market leading engineering company are seeking Assembly Operative to join their team on a contract in Alton.
As an Assembly Operative your duties will include:
- Working through day to day tasks as established
- Inspecting work in accordance with Inspection guidelines
- Maintain a safe working environment, in conjunction with Lean and 6S
- Soldering to IPC-620 (training will be provided)
- Conducting procedural tests on production products
- Responsible for understanding and using all test equipment, test fixtures and procedures.
- Maintaining high quality standards and workmanship.
The suitable Assembly Operative will have the following experience:
- Experience of soldering/electronics essential
- Ability to follow work schedules and plans
- Understanding of technical drawings
