My client is part of a new initiative designed to increase investment in small businesses and the growth of world-class science and technology innovation across Greater Manchester. The Investment Director acts as a catalyst to build a sustainable business angel investment community and mobilise public and private sector.
As Investment Director, you'll play a key role as you lead the implementation of a new strategic approach to build the Greater Manchester Angel market. This will involve linking a Co-Investment Fund with an existing Angel network and other business support services to drive a joined-up approach to investment in Manchester.
Carrying out a strategic and operational plan to ensure the successor Fund, your focus will be on establishing and managing a strong team, forging relationships with key partners and ensuring a programme of marketing, engagement and communication across the region.
Ultimately, leading the Fund from its early stages towards becoming a market-leading finance mechanism that's set to make a huge impact on Greater Manchester.
As Investment Director, we expect you to continue a track record of successful fund management and showcase a strong understanding of Angel investment in the UK.
We're also looking for an investment expert with sales, project and account management skills.
Naturally, superb communication, networking and planning skills will be just as key - combined with a degree and business training in fund management, or equivalent.
