Sales Specialist – Cloud and Data Centre

London

£65,000 - £150k OTE

 

We have an opportunity for a Sales Specialist within Cloud and Datacentre to join a powerhouse business as they invest in their Data Services division and become a valuable part of the Cloud and Datacentre Sales Specialist team.

They are open on location, so this Sales Specialist role can be based out of their Manchester, Birmingham or London offices.

As Sales Specialist day-to-day your role will entail:

  • Lead and own Public Cloud and Data Centre opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Work with the Account team to identify and qualify opportunities and develop pipeline within Customers
  • Assist the customer by understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition, negotiating and closing the deal
  • Show insight and thought leadership to our customers and partners regarding public and multi-cloud, FinOps and consumption models, and ‘as-a-Service’ infrastructure contracts and commercial agreements
  • Develop strong knowledge of industry trends by developing proactive professional relationships with technology partners and sharing knowledge with customers

To be considered for the role of Sales Specialist you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Experience selling public cloud, consumption and ‘as-a-Service’ solutions
  • Professional experience in selling Data Centre solutions
  • Experience working with FTSE250 or Central Government customers at scale 
  • Proven experience operating as a Sales Specialist or other senior sales role  
  • Experience negotiating large, complex deals with multiple technologies and professional services
  • Ability to build relationships and develop strategic partnerships with customers, vendors and partners
