Senior Reviewing Officer based in Redditch and the rate is £23.75 ph PAYE

This is a full time role working on a temporary contract.

This role will involve:

• Conduct independent and objective enquiries into applications, decisions and appeals made under Housing and Homelessness Legislation and guidance to determine legally robust outcomes and final decisions.
• Conduct and co-ordinate independent and objective reviews of appeals to landlord decisions to bring an Introductory Tenancy to an end.
• Handle all Stage 1 complaints and Elected Members / Parliamentary enquiries for the Housing, Tenancy & Advisory Service, and lead for the service wherever complaints cut across Environmental or Repairs & Maintenance.
• Respond to all Freedom of Information requests and collaborate with information management to respond compliantly to Subject Access Requests
• Actively support a learning culture, that is inclusive of appellants and / or complainants
• Support managers in the delivery of various projects and initiatives designed to continuously improve the Housing, Tenancy & Advisory Service
• To ensure that the Local Authorities legal obligations to provide professional housing and homelessness advice services in compliance with all relevant legislation, regulation, guidance, and policy are met
