My client is a national distributor of electrical wholesale equipment and are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team to develop, maintain, and co-ordinate health & safety policies across multiple sites around the country.

The successful candidate will have a high level of written and verbal communication and will be able to confidently deliver meetings, investigations, and group discussions. It is essential that you hold a CMIOSH or NEBOSH qualification as a minimum.

Your key duties will include…
 
  • Ensuring the compliance of all health and safety regulations across the business and providing training where necessary
  • Ensuring the safe installation and proper maintenance of all equipment across the sites
  • Completing risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and reduce risks
  • Ensuring that all First Aider and Fire Marshall responsibilities are carried out to the standards laid out in policies
  • Recording and investigating accidents, incidents, complaints, and any other health and safety issues raised by management or employees
