Orion are excited to partner once again with one of our biggest clients on helping them secure their next Service Coordinator. Our client is arguably one of the best UK suppliers into a variety of industries including chemical and FMCG manufacturing customers.

As manufacturers they are looking to strike the balance with the role of Service Coordinator, as this role is a key bridge between the engineering team and their customers, so as someone who is able to wear different hats from when you are dealing with high profile customers vs. dealing with your internal colleagues - this role would be spot on for you! 

As the Service Coordinator you will be responsible for: 

• Interacting with customers via phone, email and live webchat 
• Collaborate and liaise with the internal engineering teams including Field Service and Manufacturing teams as to when products will be delivered and installed. 
• Flag 'high-risk' orders to relevant departments e.g., if the business is going to miss deadlines, then advise the customer ASAP. 
• Due to the nature of the business, you will take part in looking after the warranty and after-service function. 

We will be excited to hear from you if you can demonstrate: 

• Experience in a similar role in either a Service/Repair or Manufacturing environment 
• Comfortable dealing with and speaking to customers 
• Use of either an ERP or MRP systems
