A very rare opportunity has arisen within one of the areas most highly respected lettings businesses for a lettings Legal Administrator to join their team in Derby.

Lettings Administrator – Duties:
- Assist with office reception / provide office cover
- Deal with booking of all types of appointments, i.e. viewings and valuations
- Register tenants
- Match properties, provide property information
- Attend viewings when required
- Receive, record and present all offers received. Negotiate on offer on landlord’s instructions
- Provide best informed advice on all offers to landlord
- Inform line manager of progress and any issues in a timely manner
- Compile property paperwork when let agreed and process referencing
- Organise key security
- Ensure all legal regulation on file e.g. gas certificate, EPC, PAT and instruct if necessary
- Instruct inventory
- Arrange check in
- Create all appropriate financial records
- Update file notes and history on Jupix
- Organise change of sharers, addendums, rent increases and renewals
- Attend relevant training sessions to maintain current knowledge of government legislation
- Cross sell and promote other John German services.
- Keep desk and reception area tidy at all times
- Maintain a high standard of dress code.
- To undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Lettings Administrator – Experience needed
Key Skills/Competencies required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management and organisation skills
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service in a sales driven environment
- Ability to self motivate and contribute to a team
- IT literate
· Preferably familiar with current software – Jupix
· Has background in Lettings and knowledge of current legislation and property law. Preferably Level 3 qualified
· Able to work under pressure and multi-task
