Teaching Assistant/TA needed for a school in Sunderland

A primary school in Sunderland are looking for a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant/TA to help support children with SEND/Special Educational Needs, specifically ASD.

The post will involve small group work, supporting pupils on a one to one basis, assisting with curriculum support and will be helping with personal care when needed. Experience working with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour is essential.

The right TA must have a Level 2/3 Qualification.

The post is a part time position which is 15 hours a week and is term time only to start in January or ASAP.

To be part of this team you will ideally need to be:

• A team player
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 Qualified
• Minimum of 6 months school experience
• Able to adapt to all environments
• Experience working in a SEND/Special Educational Needs
