CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANTS REQUIRED!

 

£20,191.64 per annum

Cheltenham

Full Time vacancies available

 

Annual retention bonus of £2,000 (pro-rata), plus a holiday allowance of 30 days holiday per year, including Bank Holidays, plus 2.5 Privilege days per year, increasing to 35 days after 5 years service.

 

 

We are looking to grow our existing Customer Services team at this prestigious site in Cheltenham, We have full time vacancies available covering shifts between 6:30am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.

 

As a Customer Services Assistant you will provide support to the Total Facilities Management area of the contract by receiving, acknowledging and processing all TFM service requests, processing visitors, assisting with Desk Management and providing switchboard services. Some of your key responsibilities will include working flexibly between the G4S Customer Services teams to ensure records are maintained and updated using appropriate applications such as Maximo, VRIS and Hospitality Suite. You will answer, screen, administer or transfer inbound calls as required, give written responses to routine enquiries, resolve administrative problems and inquiries, escalate service-related issues where necessary and follow up high priority works to ensure the customer contact is fully informed.

 

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  •  To work as a member of the G4S Customer Services Hub providing a variety of effective, well organized and efficient services, providing a high level of customer service.  

  • To work flexibly between the G4S Customer Services teams to ensure the delivery of the following services: 

    • G4S Admin (including Locker Management and Car Park Management) 

    • Desk Management Service 

    • Integrated Customer Service Centre / Switchboard 

    • Visitor Reception Centre o Conference and Training Service 

    • FOCUS  

  • Ensure that records are maintained and update at all stages using the appropriate IT support applications e.g. Maximo, Service Desk, VRIS, Hospitality Suite etc.  

  • Answer, screen, administer or transfer inbound calls as required  Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.

  • Prepare written responses to routine enquiries  Assist with queries, complaints and general enquiries  Liaise with key stakeholders, internal business partners, customers and clients.  

  • Follow up high priority works/requests to ensure the customer contact is fully informed  Undertake general clerical duties as required.  

  • Communicate and liaise via telephone, face to face and by email.  

  • Be prepared to undertake provide cover during times of peak demand or during staff absences  To keep your line manager informed of all service-related issues.  

  • Working safely and efficiently and with due regard for own health and safety and the health and safety and the welfare of others including, Company staff, Authority staff, contractors and members of the public etc.

 

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We are looking for positive, organised, proactive, and resourceful candidates. They must have good team organisational skills and communication skills when working in high pressure environments.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • High level of IT skills including MS Office.

  • Excellent customer service skills. 

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.  

  • Enthusiastic and flexible.  

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

 

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering excellent customer service and have proven experience of working as part of a team. 

 

You must also be willing to undergo and obtain extended security clearance in order to commence employment with us. On commencement of employment there is also a 'Golden Hello' 2.5% of annual salary payment!
