Teaching Assistant/TA needed for a school in South Tyneside

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant?

Have you had experience in KS1/Key Stage one & KS2/Key stage two?

Your new 'Good' primary school in South Tyneside is seeking to recruit a Qualified Teaching Assistant who can motivate students and encourage children to work independently and collaboratively. The vibrant and happy school wants someone who can promote and maintain their caring ethos. The school are seeking a highly experienced TA who provides quality care to students.

The role
In your new job you will working across the year groups in both KS1 and KS2 in small intervention groups and helping across the whole class. The right TA should be comfortable and be able to provide the Teacher with general assistance. Moreover, the right candidate must have good, overall experience with having worked with Phonics, Read Write Inc and SAT’s.

You will be working 32.5 hours a week and the position is to start in January 2023.

Requirements
This job requires a fully qualified Teaching Assistant, with a Level 2/3.

You will also need recent teaching experience within a primary school, ideally with Read Write Inc, SATs and Phonics.

It is important that you have a strong knowledge of the current National curriculum.

Experience with behaviour management.

Experience working with Special Educational Needs/SEND is desirable, but not essential.
