For 30 years, our award-winning client has been working with global brands and retailers to deliver a wide range of standout visual communications.

 

Working with a with a range of clients including Disney, Tesco, Molton Brown, Baylis & Harding, Heineken and M&S to name but a few, the business is recruiting an Account Director for its Health & Beauty sector.

 

As the Account Director, your role will consist of leading and motivating the Health & Beauty account management team and developing and retaining key clients. 

 

This is a business critical role, your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • Ensuring your team operates to the commercial framework of the client
  • Take ownership and delivery of agreed financial targets and operational services.
  • Drive additional value and share best practice amongst the sales and account management teams
  • Maintain a close overview of all activities being managed by the account team, with a particular focus on the quality of internal briefing and the successful delivery of key campaigns
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasting of revenues in all clients
  • Delivering monthly/quarterly/annual reviews including agreed Continuous Improvement Initiatives
  • Ensure that key client information is kept up to date and accurate at all times on the CRM system
  • Manage the personal development of all team members, through appraisals, one-to-one meetings, mentoring, succession planning and coaching
  • Be the primary point of escalation for client issues
  • Maintain relationships with your Account Managers and Production Controllers to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Actively driving the growth of your accounts

 

To be suitable for this role, you must have around 10 years of account management experience, be commercially astute with good IT skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and either worked in a visual communications business or creative agency.
