Technical Manager 

 Location: Maidstone, Kent 

Role: Technical Manager 

Salary: £40k-£50k DOE 

Summary: 

The successful candidate will interact at many levels of the company and be able to work closely with Production, NPD, Laboratory and marketing, and report in to the Head of Technical (Products). Responding to and co-ordinating customer queries and requests, auditing and managing the development of the food safety quality management system will be included as primary responsibilities 

The Role: 

• Management of internal audits (both BRC and customer compliance) 
• Host both BRC and customer audits 
• Management of supplier and ingredient approvals and TACCP 
• Artwork and label review and approvals 
• Completion of customer specifications (in-house and customer systems) 
• Collating information from factory trials and generating customer CQMs 

The Candidate: 

• Experience within and Quality is essential, preferentially within the food industry 
• HACCP Level 3 
• Capable of leading/ managing internal audits  
• Excellent knowledge or Artwork, label reviewing and customer specifications  
• Positive attitude to work, team player 
• Food Safety Qualifications
