An opportunity has arisen for a HR Systems Manager to join a large not for profit organisation on an 18-month fixed term contract, where you will lead the team of customer focused, HR professionals.
As a HR Systems Manager, you will ensure the efficient and timely management of all administration and transactional tasks along with any ad hoc reporting. You will develop and manage all HR systems that support the team as well as the HR systems that support the wider HR and OD teams as well as ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. Key Responsibilities:
• To lead on the development of our digital platforms and associated processes, including Unit 4 ERP and Hireserve Applicant Tracking System. To continually liaise with 3rd party suppliers to continually improve processes.

• Undertaking and develop testing of upgrades, new system modules or improvements, liaising with the internal IT team or system provider on any inconsistencies and failures affecting the day-to-day operation of the HR & Recruitment team.

• Manage external relationships with third party providers such as DDC (DBS provider), Reward Gateway, Hireserve, Unit 4 and BUPA.
• Ensure compliance with all pre-employment checks in line with safer recruitment guidance, including, but not limited to: DBS, references, qualifications, BPSS, right to work and social media checks.

• Lead on continual development of safer recruitment processes to ensure they are in line with best practice and business requirements.

• Ensure compliance on DBS is maintained and lead on continual improvements to these processes.

• To be the subject expert on all visa related activities.

• Lead of audits on HR services to ensure ISO compliance. Responsible for carrying out routine internal audits on the HR and Recruitment procedures, identify gaps and risks, work with the team on recommendations.

• To manage the cyclical HR activity which are processed, such as pay review process, annual leave buy back etc.

• Resolving more complex queries as escalated by the team in relation to HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements to support the HR Business Partnering Service team.

• Managing the integrity and security of HR and Recruitment related data, ensuring appropriate systems are in place and that records are maintained or created including required audit trails

• Responding promptly to customer concerns, and addressing any issues as appropriate within the team, escalating these to the Head of HR Services where appropriate.

• The knowledge and understanding of employment law and best practice
• The ability to organise and prioritise both your own time and the team's time effectively, forward planning and ensuring that a variety of tasks with competing deadlines
