Job Role: Account Manager / Estimator

Location: Twickenham

Salary: £25K-£30K depending on experience + benefits including laptop, phone, pension etc.

 

My client are a leading provider of Large Format graphics and Signage and are looking for an experienced industry candidate who can help grow their Account Management and Estimating division.

Due to outstanding growth over the past 12 months an opportunity has arisen for a high-performing Sales Office Manager (SOM) to become an integral part of their team and help them meet their ongoing ambitious revenue growth and profit objectives in this recently acquired centre in a prime geographic location.

The Account Manager will play a key role in the organisation being responsible for the internal day-to-day management of sales and quotations etc. in centre allowing the Office Manager and Business Development Manager (BDM) to focus on larger project opportunities in the territory and thereby creating a team capable on delivering on exciting opportunities locally.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and revenue targets set by the business in areas of designated responsibility.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts and new opportunities via outstanding customer service and cross/upselling skills via:
    • Understanding and interpreting customer enquiries, provide signage guidance and expertise
    • Preparation of quotations/bids at appropriate margins for the business.
    • Responding to all enquiries quickly and professionally
    • Follow up all quotations in agreed timescales
    • Improve quotation conversion rates, both by number and revenue
    • Manage all activity on the business CRM system

 

Requirements:

  • Proven industry experience within Large Format Graphics and Signage
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
  • Thorough understanding of the sales process
  • Demonstrable experience in cross and upselling of opportunities
  • Experience in using “Clarity” (or similar software) to accurately quote solutions and maintain business target margins.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong business sense and commercial acumen.
