We are an electronic manufacturer who is looking for a product compliance assistant to support the business with compliance around our electrical/electronic products. We are looking for an individual with a product compliance background and an individual who has knowledge/understanding of the UK and EU legislation around consumer electronics. You will work very closely with the businesses technical auditor specialist so an understanding of the legislation will allow you to support more effectively.

This role will be split across both hands on and documentation driven with 80% of the role being compliance documentation driven and 20% hands on with the product itself. We offer a range of products and you will be integral to ensuring that product is fit for consumers.

The successful product compliance assistant will have an understanding and background within electronics and or electrical consumer goods, ideally with qualifications within relevant fields including electronics/electrical design/engineering.

Within the product compliance role, you will be reviewing multiple test reports (EMC reports, docs for manufacturer, regulations of hazardous substances), comparing these to the product ensuring that the test reports match the product, description and design. Within this role you will be working with the production managers, tracking compliance issues and changes to products, so attention to detail is essential.

The successful product compliance assistant will be an organised individual who is used to working to deadlines, with the ability to be a self starter and pro active with their approach to work.
