James Adams has partnered with a fast-growth startup who have launched an IOS/Android application which now has over 7 million monthly users across 180 countries. They are looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be working on the backend millions of users are relying on whilst working collaboratively with the mobile and web teams. This role will give you the opportunity to work on a product that is acclaimed by not only Android and Apple, but also Google, and solve complex backend challenges. 

This role would allow you to have full ownership of the backend, working across architecture and coding features, monitoring releases performance and developing the first version of live collaboration/multiplayer.

This role would be ideal if you have the following experience: 

• 2+ years minimum of experience in backend development with Django, Django Rest Framework, or a similar REST Framework
• You have experience working with the relational database at scale, architecting schemas and running migrations.
• You take initiative and are at ease to make product and technical decisions 

Our client is flexible offering remote work from anywhere in Europe but is ideally looking for English speakers as the whole team speak English as the main language. 

They are in a financially strong position and offer remote working with a once-a-month or more (fully reimbursed) trip to their office in Paris!
