Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Skills Development Tutor with a specialism in Mechanical Engineering to support, develop and inspire learners.

You will have previous experience delivering Mechanical, Maintenance, CAD and ideally Engineering Maths. You will support learners including apprentices, adult and young people who are unemployed through various qualifications including delivering taster days to learners interested in a career in Mechanical Engineering.

You will be skilled in developing and delivering a curriculum (both face to face/digitally) and you will adapt delivery to meet the individual needs of learners.  You will use vocational and personal development delivery to ensure all learners progress with their qualification and you will mark/assess their work throughout the qualification.

You will have at least 5 years vocational experience and 1-2 years teaching Apprenticeship frameworks and standards including MOET, Engineering Technician, and Engineering Fitter.  You will hold a formal teaching qualification PTLLS, DTLLS etc and ideally be able to deliver Maths to a high standard.
