Planning and Logistics Manager

£39-42k per annum

A successful manufacturing is undergoing a period of significant expansion & are looking for Planning and Logistics Manager to join the team. They are supporting a wide range of commercial and industrial sites within their growing target customer base including manufacturing sites, critical healthcare facilities, distribution centres, retail, infrastructure and public sector sites.

As a Planning and Logistics Manager your duties will include:

• Create and manage the production schedule based around material availability
• Manage supply chain activities
• Stocktake and audit compliance
• Oversee Safe working practices
• Develop and manage BoM’s
• Organisation and layout of warehouse for present day operations
• Plan space requirements for future expansion
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in Purchasing, Manufacturing and Projects as required for operational delivery
• Prioritise and allocate workload throughout the team.

The successful Planning and Logistics Manager will have the below skills and experience:

• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of being accountable across a variety of roles within the MP&L function
• Experience of inventory control processes
• Experience of stock preservation
• Experience of complex project planning and stakeholder management
• Good analytical skills using MS packages, with ability to interpret data and produce departmental/management level reports

Renumeration and Benefits for the Planning and Logistics Manager:

• £38-42,000 basic pay DoE
• Up to 5% basic pay bonus paid annually linked to company performance
• 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays
