Job Title: Learner / Client Engagement Officer

Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
 
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 depending on skills and experience

Essential Criteria:

• Must have strong customer service and business administration competency.
• Ideally hold good knowledge and understanding on Apprenticeships sector and the Levy.
• Ideally have experience within business development or recruitment, both business to business (B2B), and business to customer (B2C).
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
• Highly organised and able to manage own workload effectively
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.

Duties / Responsibilities:            

• Engage with employers, learners and stakeholders, via various pathways for the generation of new Apprenticeship starts.
• Follow up on leads and enquiries received by phone, direct from business development staff, or via the company website.
• Speak with decision makers to discuss suitable training and recruitment needs for existing staff, and new Apprentice recruitment.
• Give advice and support to employers regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms.
• Arrange interviews between learners and employers and gather feedback afterwards.
• Provide IAG to learners and employers regarding enrolment. Complete enrolment documentation accurately, ensuring that all paperwork meets compliance standards.
• Advertise vacancies and support employers with the creation of job descriptions.
• Undertake Organisational Needs Analysis to determine roles required - work together with employer engagement team to fill these.
