Job Description:

Operations Manager - Mon-Fri - 70-80k based salary + bonus + car allowance - TOTAL PACKAGE 75-85k (depending on experience) - Flexible working arrangements - Fantastic Progression Opportunities

We are looking for an operations manager to join our thriving team, based in London where you will be working on our maintenance contracts within UK infrastructure, assuming operational management responsibility for the team and projects. As our projects are based within the control system/communications, industry technical experience and understanding will really stand you apart. You will not be hands on yourself within the role however having a technical understanding of maintenance principles, components and scheduling would be excellent.

The role will consist of activities, processes, and primary interactions with stakeholders both internal and external and managing the maintenance projects. The successful operations manager will be ideally have experience managing project managers, as this role will require you to manage PMs their assistants, and hands on project management. The majority of the role will have you scheduling and resourcing work across the team and ensuring all maintenance projects are being delivered to according to spec.

You will also be attending regular and ad-hoc meetings with clients to amend and identify future development opportunities within the current and new project opportunities. This is also completed via long term planning with clients for the replacement of assets and active involvement in asset replacement projects. As part of the maintenance projects you will be involved with the procurement of equipment and spares '' including third party suppliers.

The ideal experience the successful operations manager will have is that of an engineering background within UK infrastructure however the industry is not essential, although as we are dealing with maintenance contracts knowledge and understanding of control systems, electrical, PLCs and SCADA systems would really stand you apart.

The contracts we currently have are stable but we have grown to a size that requires a senior member of staff to over see key areas with associated accountabilities and responsibilities such as contractual commitments including KPIs are met, team building including recruitment (with support),  an active involvement in any client or third-party audits and active involvement in H&S planning and documentation.

The successful operations manager will also have the opportunity to progress in the business to a directorship with share options available should this be a development goal of theirs. We are looking for an operations manager who has their own ideas and wants to implement change and improve an already successful business.
