Job Description:

Are you a super organised and admin superstar that is looking for a new opportunity to utilise your skill and work for a business where you feel valued?


This alongside 27 days holiday, every two weeks is a 4-day work week and you will earn the equivalent to £25,000 p/a which is £12.62ph - you need to apply for this role!


 Only one thing, you need to be able to drive and have access to a car, this is because of where they are located in Basingstoke. 


This is an opportunity where you can bring all your strong admin skills to the table, but also learn something a bit different.


You will join a Purchasing Department in a very heavy support function position as their Purchasing Administrator, you don’t necessarily need to have any purchasing experience, if this is the case then you need to be open to this as a direction to move your career in, as this business will provide ALL the training and support to give you the tools and knowledge to understand.


If you do have experience (regardless of how much), then this role would be pulling on all of that and utilising this day to day. 


A normal day for the Purchasing Assistant would look like: 

  • Updating internal systems using your admin skills with information about suppliers, whether it be lead times, prices etc. 
  • Speaking to suppliers and in turn, updating the internal teams on suppliers’ terms and lead times on items. 
  • Requesting quotes and placing orders online for items requested by the internal teams. 


This role will initially be a 6 month contract (just like a probationary period) and will be reviewed to either extend or be made permanent.
