Principal Mechanical Engineer

£60,000-£70,000

Reaching it's 75th year in business, a highly established manufacturing company is on the hunt for a Principal Engineer to join their growing R&D Team at their HQ in Uxbridge.

Their market-leading products and systems pioneer several industries, the most prominent markets being Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Defence.

• Responsibilities and Requirements of the Principal Engineer:

  • Heightened knowledge of pressure systems (FEA and CFD)
  • Strong knowledge of 3D CAD and Manufacturing processes
  • Advanced analytical skills using Hand Calcs or Analysis tools
  • Ability to lead design reviews and mentor junior members of the team
  • Managing cradle to grave design projects

   

  Experience/Qualifications of the Principal Engineer:

  • 10+ Years of industry (preferably in Oil and Gas or Defence)
  • Degree Educated
  • Chartered Status or actively working towards Chartered Status
  • Ability to get UK Security Clearance
