Purchase Ledger
Monday – Thursday 7:30-5:00 Friday 7:30-12:30
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

My client is a well-established leading manufacturer, that are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant due to business growth to join them on a full-time permanent basis. 
The ideal candidate will have a background in Sales/Purchase Ledger. Working under the direction of the Finance Manager

The Role:
  • Daily processing of invoices/credits
  • Chase and clear any invoice queries on a daily basis
  • Clearing Debt Balances
  • Carrying out month end processes
  • Ensuring account information is up to date
  • Maximising payment terms
  • Some elements of credit control
  • Raising credit notes with documentation
  • Sales invoice processing
  • Resolving invoice queries both internally and externally
  • Statement reconciliations

The Candidate:
?Ability to follow instructions and prioritise workload
  • High level of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
