A Specialist school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs are looking for experienced Behaviour Teaching Assistants with experience who can join the school to support their pupils on a long-term basis

The Role

In this role you will be supporting a range of primary and secondary aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within specialist learning and development sessions. Many of the students you will be support will display challenging behaviour and will need support to manage their own emotions and de-escalate situations. You will work closely with a range of professionals

Due to the nature of this role, the school are only looking for Teaching Assistants with previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or complex emotional and behavioural needs. PRU or similar experience would be preferable. Restraint training such as PRICE or de-escalation training is desirable, however, not essential; as PRICE training will be provided.
