Job Title: Hospitality Trainer/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

*Trainee or Qualified Assessor Opportunity*

Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 4 Assessor Coach qualification.

Location: London - Home/Field based

Salary: £28,600 - £29,600 (Including location allowance) - Salary dependent on qualifications

Our client is happy to consider non-qualified Assessors, who possess solid experience within Front of House Hospitality, and ideally some exposure to learning and development.

Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Assessor award.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must have experience of working within a Hotel environment (Front of House - Reception; Housekeeping; Food & Beverage).
  • Must hold own NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality (e.g., Food and Beverage; Food Production; Reception etc.) 
  • Must be confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
  • Must be IT literate.
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.

Duties include:

  • Delivering full Apprenticeship qualifications in Hospitality at level 2 and 3 (Standards), specialising in Front of House: Hospitality Team Member; Hospitality Supervisor.
  • Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning).
  • Delivering Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Personal Skills:

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
