We are currently recruiting for skilled Employment Advisors who will work to support customers in to employment.
You will work with a caseload of customers to identify barriers to employment, This could include language (ESOL), disability, mental health, ex-offenders or simply a lack of skills. You will gain insight in to their skills/lack of skills and together you will produce a plan to address these barriers, gaining new skills which will help each customer to move closer to the labour market.
You will meet with each customer regularly; you will set SMART targets and ensure each customer meets these to progress their job hunting forward. You will work to job start targets and you will monitor each customer to ensure they sustain in their new job role.
You will have experience working with ESOL customers and you will have a good understanding of how to help people to apply for jobs, addressing their barriers to employment along the way.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
