Business Development Manager - Scotland (Field Based)
Based in the Stockport office or field based
The ideal candidate will be a sales professional with experience of B2B sales within the engineering industry, but they will consider applications from technical staff (simulation engineers) who want to get into sales.
We are very open to location. Scotland/South-East are the ones that would work best for us. Depending on the individual's situation we will work on how much they need to report to the office.
Be great to get candidates to come from CAD, Plastic software sales background.

We specialise in the application of engineering simulation technologies. We work in most industrial areas and we have been helping clients to use simulation technologies for 40+ years. These technologies are supplied using a combination of software, consulting, training and support services to address a wide variety of projects ranging from handheld devices to vehicles.
We are currently looking for an ambitious and dedicated Business Development Manager. You will join an establish team of commercial and technical staff. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, your main focus will be sales of our products and services related to the marketing leading engineering simulation software ANSYS. However, you will also be free to sell other products and services, including complementary engineering simulation software and functional safety and reliability engineering software and services. The opportunity for sales of software and services to support the growth in demand for engineering simulation by both existing and new clients is significant.

You would be joining an existing team of over 40 staff, some of whom have been with the company for many years and others who are fairly new to the business. You will find a professional, collaborative and enjoyable working environment.
Located either in our Stockport office or working from home, we offer a 37-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 25 days, plus 8 statutory, paid holidays per year, competitive base salary, plus uncapped performance-related commission, pension scheme and flexi-time working.
