Marketing Pricing Specialist - Chester
The role holder will be an analytical, results-oriented leader who also has excellent customer service skills working in the Market Pricing. This team is responsible for two critical functions:
1) Pricing strategy and execution ensuring we are competitive, profitable, and maintaining customer trust in pricing across our portfolio of properties.
2) Taking owner queries on pricing and advising them on optimal price points both reactively and proactively. Working closely with our commercial property recruitment team, marketing and revenue management teams to optimise pricing for all holiday durations.
Daily call from owners to discuss pricing where key commercial acumen is needed to be demonstrated as well as excellent customer experience. Speaking to owners regarding their future pricing linking to performance from the past and against similar properties (RM Grp). Calls also need to be proactive and bring in discussions on Revenue Management & Shortbread Options and
Weekly review of existing properties looking at the top and bottom 10% of performers to proactively look at what price changes made be needed and reporting on this.
Weekly reporting on Owner Revenue & Booking performance for departure weeks and regions.
Support Market Pricing Manager in the acquisitions of new brands into regions and look to where prices of existing stock may need to be monitored, reviewed or changes to avoid cannibalisation.
