4 on / 4 off pattern: 2 days, 2 nights
7am to 7pm

Due to our client undergoing a period of growth, they are looking to hire a maintenance engineer. You will join a leading manufacturer within their respective field, with 4 sites across the country with a five year plan to continue to invest in machinery, equipment and the maintenance department. This is a great opportunity to join a team of 12 engineers for a company who offer strong training and development opportunities.
Your job security is assured in an industry which is infallible during these difficult economic times. On top of this the working environment is very clean and safe. As a maintenance engineer your time will be split between planned preventative and reactive maintenance on an array of medium to light machinery.

- As a Maintenance engineer your day to day will consist of working on: conveyor systems, chains, belts, bearings, rollers, hydraulics, pneumatics, metal detectors, weighers, robotics machinery
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks with a 50/50 ratio between the two currently
- Installation of machinery and services
- Working with key electrical components (contactors, motors, sensors, relays, inverters) - support is provided
- Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or equivalent qualifications in either discipline
- Experience with chains, belts, bearings, rollers, motors and hydraulics is advantageous
- Any maintenance engineer from manufacturing welcome to apply – FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, brick, automotive, metals, etc.
