3 on 3 off - Days and Nights

6am to 6pm

The Company:

Due to our client undergoing a period of growth, across two sites within half a mile from each other, they are looking to hire a maintenance engineer with a level 3 NVQ or equivalent in either discipline. This company are in a massively growing industry, with 10 apprentices, and 40 members of the maintenance team.

As a maintenance engineer your time will be split between planned preventative and reactive maintenance on an array of a diverse range of machinery. No two days will be the same and there are no restrictions with what you can work on.

Responsibilities and tasks include:
  • As a Maintenance engineer your day to day will consist of working on: chains, belts, motors, robotics machines, furnaces, plating tanks, vacuum pressure machines, hydraulics, pneumatics and more bespoke machinery as well 
  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance tasks with a 60/40 ratio of planned to reactive maintenance
  • Working with key electrical components (contactors, motors, sensors, relays, inverters) - support is provided 
Experience required:
  • Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or equivalent qualifications in either discipline 
  • Experience with chains, belts, bearings, rollers, motors and hydraulics, pneumatics is advantageous 
  • Any maintenance engineer from manufacturing welcome to apply – FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, brick, automotive, metals, etc.
