Summary for an Instrumentation engineer
- As part of the maintenance team, you will be ensuring all plant machinery is kept in operation and reliability is kept throughout the entire factory.
- You will be supporting electrically and on instrumentation – We have a large variety of equipment, pressure gauges, flow meters, liquid meters, ABB, Automation etc… various manufacturers, some older, some new.
- Working on preventative, planned and reactive works, following a CMMS system – SAP.
- Troubleshooting and problem analysis are essential skills.
Experience required:
- Served recognised Electrical & Instrumentation Apprenticeship
- Minimum L3 NVQ/C&G qualification in electrical / instrumentation / control engineering
- Sound working on inverters, soft starts, 3-phase motors and PLCs
- Sound knowledge of measuring instrumentation (Profibus/Digital/Conventional).
- Experience working in a similar role - Electrical Instrument Technician / Electrical Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer / E&I Engineer / Calibration Engineer / Instrumentation engineer
