The client is a leading main contractor within the construction sector, they boost an annual turnover in excess of £1bn and have delivered many prestigious construction projects shaping the skyline of Britain’s cities.

What does the role entail?

The role involves developing warm leads and existing client relationships, this will see you conducting regular face to face client meetings and so you must be prepared to travel to various client locations throughout the north.

Your specific duties will be to;

• Conduct daily meetings with existing & new clients and key stakeholders
• Identify key client drivers and requirements i.e. (Price / Time / Quality) feeding back this info to the Business Development and marketing departments
• Build long lasting partnerships with warm new and existing clients through effective relationship management]
• Research and identify new areas for growth
• To ensure consistent growth in new and repeat business

What experience do I need?

• You need to have worked in a business development or high level B2B sales
• You should have excellent soft sales skills and be able to generate and develop leads into long lasting client relationships
• Ideally you will have a knowledge of the construction sector
