ServiceNow Consultant - UK Based - Up to £75,000 DoE

Agile Recruit are currently recruiting for a ServiceNow Consultant who is comfortable working closely with the client to capture business requirements and assist with the implementation of ServiceNow and associated enhancements.

This role would ideally suit someone who has at least two years working as a consultant on the ServiceNow platform and has now achieved a decent understanding of several products within ServiceNow. Typically, these would include some of the following areas: ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, Portal, Service Catalogue, Workflows, form configuration.

A good working knowledge of ITIL best practices would also be desirable. This role might also suit someone who is now working as a business analyst or developer and would like to move into a more customer focussed role. Good communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients & act as a Subject Matter Expert for ServiceNow, mainly in the core applications & base platform
  • Understand existing business processes & solutions
  • Suggest & agree improvements to these
  • Participate in & / or lead workshops
  • Work closely with Business Analysts to capture requirements
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the client receives the correct solution
  • Maintain an excellent & engaging relationship with the client
  • Maintain & grow your knowledge of ServiceNow

Competencies:
  • Excellent ServiceNow knowledge, in one or more of these areas: ITSM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow platform administration
  • Ability to configure the ServiceNow platform to the needs of the customer
  • The ability to understand & write client and server side Javascript code on the ServiceNow platform
  • Ability to work with the client to demonstrate the abilities of ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with integrations (SOAP, WSDL, REST, LDAP, SSO, JDBC, etc)
  • Experience with ITIL methodology & procedures
  • Agile & Waterfall development methodologies
  • Follow, update, & create documentation

Qualifications:
  • Multiple certifications in ServiceNow, e.g., CSA, CAD, ITSM, CSM, ITOM, etc.
  • At least 2 years’ experience
  • ITIL v4 Foundation (Preferred)
