Tax and Trust Assistant


Job Description:

We are working with a top legal practice in Bath who are looking to add an assistant to their Private Client team.

Salary Negotiable dependant  on experienece

What will I be doing?

You will join the legal team as a Tax and Trust Assistant. You are not expected to be the finished article so you will be guided and supported. 
  • Assisting with the personal tax compliance for a mixed portfolio of clients including sole-traders, individuals, deputyships and estates
  • Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax computations and reports to HMRC on behalf for UK individuals, estates, trusts and non-UK resident clients
  • Administration of existing non-complex trusts including liaising with trustees, beneficiaries and third parties, attending annual trustee meetings and preparation of trust accounts
  • Dealing with the compliance obligations for trusts
  What experience do I need?

This is an administration role with compliance. We will be looking for someone who has an interest in law and/or tax.
