Job Description:
Hate mornings? Would an afternoon-to-evening role suit you better? Fancy working from home? This expanding global systems company seeks an experienced IT helpdesk support analyst / applications support analyst to join their 2nd line team, supporting clients in the US; providing escalated support on a flagship software application, together with general support to the IT surrounding the product.
The position is 100% remote.
The role and checklist:
> At least 1yrs experience supporting cloud-based applications
> Strong 1st line or 2nd line broad-based IT service desk support
> Networking skills - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
> Good Windows 10 support
> Windows Server exposure
> Exposure to cloud techs such as: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
> Desirable: SQL experience (query writing) with an understanding of databases (training can be given)

> Working days: Monday to Friday, 40hr week, 1hr for lunch
> The shift system has 3 patterns, between the hours of Noon to 1:30am UK-time.
> Package to around £30,000 (consists of a basic of up to £26k + automatic shift allowance)
> 25 days holiday p/a plus a range of benefits, inc. to 6% pension and 4x life insurance.
