Product Lead

A leading digital transformation consultancy is currently looking for an exceptional Product Lead to partner with C-Suite-level client stakeholders and lead the successful delivery of ongoing digital transformations.

The successful Product Lead will have circa 3-5 direct reports (product managers/owners), who will then in turn lead cross-functional squads, so you must be experienced leading large teams.
Collaborating with BA’s, PM’s, solution architects, and senior stakeholders, you’ll be a visible leader; shaping the work for the team, proactively seeking commercial opportunities, and playing a lead part in product-level commercial negotiations.

This hire will play a key role in winning and developing further business, so being able to manage multiple stakeholders while leading a strong delivery team is key.

This role is not available in London, though is available for most locations in the UK (including Belfast) or remotely, as long as you’re able to commit to travel when required.

This role will be right for you if you have experience with some of the following:

• You’ve a successful background in delivering bespoke digital transformations for clients.
• You have worked with government organisations on transformation projects (as a Product Leader)
• You’ve led cross-functional teams, clearly defining the product strategy and roadmap.
• You have extensive experience working with C-Suite client stakeholders.
• A proven ability of strong team management skills, including effectively managing a multi-disciplinary team is crucial.
• Previous background as a BA is essential.
• You must be eligible to qualify for SC Clearance (if you don’t already hold clearance).

Responsibilities Overview:

• Own the end-to-end backlog for a product, taking responsibility for its overall quality and maturity.
• Lead the project-focused Product Managers/Owners and Business Analysts, and ensure the processes for requirements-gathering and prioritisation are operating effectively.
• Support the engagement with product or programme-level business stakeholders, gaining their buy-in and managing their expectations.
• Manage, coach, and develop your team, focusing on enhancing employee performance.
