Job Description:
Orion are proud to partner once again with our ground-breaking engineering client, whose product has a significant impact and plays a pivotal role in next generation technology and communication infastructure. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to introduce a brand new Production Engineer into the business on a full time basis.
As the Production Engineer you will take the lead on;
- Lead on specific continuous improvement programmes to support production
- Working with the production teams to develop and document SOP’s for all key processes
- Collaborate with Production Management and Team leaders to identify, record & reduce rework in all areas of manufacturing process
- Be the first point of call with engineering issues in production

We will be excited to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
- Demonstratable experience of working as either a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering experience
- Proven track record in LEAN principles and continuous improvement techniques
