A lovely, well-organised primary school in Brent is looking for an experienced school administrator to take responsibility for admissions and attendance until the end of the academic year.

Job role

In this role you will be based in the school office and be required to undertake a range of administrative duties and provide medical and welfare support to pupils as required.

As the school administration and welfare assistant your role will include:

  • Dealing with visitor and parents queries and questions
  • Providing first-aid, initial medical care to pupils as required.
  • Reporting accidents/incidents and contacting parents/carers  
  • General admin tasks and any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Office Manager or school business manager.
  • Support school stock management, ordering and monitoring.
  • Supporting finance procedures, recording dinner monies and trip monies.
  • Daily use of Word, Excel and SIMS.

The school are looking for an administrator who has:

  • Previous experience in a school office
  • Knowledge of SIMS
  • A valid first aid qualification.
  • GCSE in English and Maths grade c or above
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • Have a friendly and calm approach
  • A commitment to safeguarding children

Additional training will be provided where necessary.

The school are offering the role as a contract basis initially.  Please note we are only able to accept applications from administrators with a minimum of 3 months experience working in a school office and a valid first aid qualification.

This lovely well-organised primary school is based in a diverse area in the borough of Brent. The school is easily accessible via public transport and has on-site parking for staff. There is a supportive and experienced leadership in team at place in the school and there is a good staff team in place who work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
