Contract Electronic Component Engineer

Opportunity for a component engineer with an electronics background to undertake a key project focused role on a contract basis.

Working as part of a dynamic multi-discipline project team as electrojic component engineer your role will be to support and resolve obsolescence and long lead time issues.  As such,  you will:

  • Identify long lead time components and suggest possible alternative components.
  • Identify components that are obsolete or at risk of becoming obsolete and again suggest possible alternative components.
  • Good report writing skills to document suggestions/findings.

 

To succeed you will have:

  • An electronics engineering background
  • Electronics components knowledge
  • The ability to produce reports / technical documentation
  • An appreciation of and some prior exposure of change control (ECN) processes and configuration management.
