A SEN school in Merton is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join their team. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will be working with a group of pupils who have needs inclusive of autism (ASD) and associated behavioural and learning difficulties. You will have the opportunity to support in class as well as lead targeted interventions. Pupils in your class engage well with sensory approaches. 

• £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
• Long-term, full-time
• Immediate or April start
• Good transport links and on-site parking available

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) will:

• Have a patient and calming attitude
• Be keen to make a positive impact on the learning and development of SEN pupils
• Have good SEN experience, especially of autism (ASD) and associated behavioural and learning difficulties
• Be experienced in utilising sensory methods and activities
• Have a valid enhanced DBS
