Design Engineer (2-3 Years Experience)£35,000-£40,000 A Surrey-based manufacturing company who specialise in electro-mechanical, Water Management and Control products are currently seeking their next Design Engineer who has 2-3 years of Industry experience to join their R&D Team. With over 30 years in business,  this company has established a solid commercial platform with market leading customers and now starts an exciting phase of growth. This is an opportunity to join a progressive privately owned Company that has ambition and does not want to stand still! As a Design Engineer you will be involved in;

• Full product Life-Cycle Design (Including Prototyping, Hands-on testing, analysis etc)
• Establishing new product designs
• Liaise with subcontractors in development and manufacture of products
• Manage NPD projects and budgetary decisions
• Design of jigs and fixtures required for production implementation

 The ideal Design Engineer will have;

• Mechanical Engineering Degree/ HNC
• 1-2 Years of Industrial experience outside of university 
• Proficient in 3D CAD (pref Solidworks but not essential)
• Exposure to or knowledge of full product life-cycle design processes
• Tinkerer - someone who enjoys engineering and don't see it as just a job
• An appreciation for Injection Moulding or electronics would be beneficial
