Our Client is…

A Design and Manufacturing organisation based in Middlesex situated between Heathrow Airport and Twickenham, they work on concept design and development for a range of security products designed to high specification and custom made for their customers.

What's the job?

You will be joining as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a close-knit team working on full lifecycle product design, including NPD, research and development and bespoke designs for customers using both off the shelf products and new ideas you provide.

Reporting into the head of the department, you will also work closely with other departments across the business in sales and manufacturing. You will have ownership of your own projects and be expected to manage them, whilst simultaneously working on team projects.

What we need…

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering graduate with over 2 years minimum experience in a full life cycle Mechanical Design post, someone who is capable and has experience of managing their own projects.

The successful candidate will have experience of the following;

• Proficient in 3D CAD (preferably Autodesk Inventor)
• Professional use of FEA
• Regularly performed mechanical hand calculations in your work
• Design experience with sheet metal components
• Degree Educated in Mechanical Engineering

The Package?

• £35,000 to £40,000 (based on experience)
