Planning Team Administrator based in Guildford and the rate is £25.00ph PAYE

This is a full time role working on a temporary contract.

The successful candidate will support for outsourced applications in the journey of reducing backlog of planning applications pre and post designation decision. This role will be on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office each week.

Main Duties will be:

  • Answering email and telephone enquiries about planning matters.
  • To provide application support including uploading reports including conditions and consulting neighbours, stakeholders and consultees.
  • To check reports and decisions are issued with all the appropriate corporate standard.
  • Point of contact for planning officers, consultees, agents and applicants.
  • Redacting and publishing documents, adhering to data protection and GDPR standards.
  • To ensure team filing, all application paperwork and electronic records are kept updated and well organised.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and decisions are issued within the agreed timeframes.
  • To carry out any additional duties or functions, as may be requested by management.
  • Strong team working skills.
